During the course of writing my last note I just remember something that REALLY bothers the shit outta me... and this has to do with black woman AND we'll throw the black men under the bus too... One of my girl friends always raises this issue in one way or another and it gets on my fucking nerves but whatever, she is who she is and I love her regardless but umm... What the hell is wrong with black people??? Why do they hate on ppl that are DARK SKINNED?? BLACK IS BLACK IS KISS-MI-ASS BLACK... doesn't matter what shade of black you are....YOU'RE BLACK....
Do ya'll think the KKK differentiates the light from the brown from the dark...NO...they dont... so why do we>?? I'm so tired of hearing people say...Oh she's cute for a dark skinned girl... WTF? so what I would be cuter if I was lighter?? I had to correct some broad on Facebook a while back that commented on this girls photo and said " you got nice hair for a DARKIE"... what the fuck is a darkie??? you have got to be kidding me...And the girl leaving the comment was black..*Mizz cant stop rolling her eyes* so I corrected her and told her the correct term is DARK SKINNED...
Clearly these shallow ass blacks did not pay attention when 2pac said "the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice".... If anything... they should feel a little off because they're too light to be black (thats not actually my point of view but had I been the type of person they are in regards to light skinned black people. this would be the view).. so What are they....The white people wont say their white and the blacks shouldnt say their black if we're gonna get in "that" type of mind state....
I wonder if they think the light skinned blacks werent raped, pillaged, stone, slaughtered, lynched, hung, degraded and enslaved back when racism was the norm... And I really wonder why complextion is even an issue...Am I less of a person because I'm dark?? Am I less sexy because I'm dark>??? Now I'm well aware of the fact of personal preferences...thats all well and good..but being beautiful should not be determined by your skin colour...
Now a days music videos and magazine are portraying these stupid ideals a little to blatantly and it's having a negative effect on today's youth, expecially the dark skinned youth... Case in point.. there was an episode of Oprah where Lisa Ling went to elementary schools across America with a black doll and a white doll and asked all the kids to state which doll they thought was pretty.... and basically none of them picked the black doll...That to me is sickening... Its the same thing with eating disorders and being ULTRA thin....
I dont know...this is something that fucking pisses me off and I feel VERY strongly about... I love me a black man.. there is nothing in this world that is FINER... and even better if he's dark.. the glisening of his skin in the sun under his sweat is utterly intoxicating, the strength that his darkness exudes is magnificent... and the same goes for dark skinned females...(not that I feel the same way about them, I'm straight as an arrow...strictly dickly up in hurr)
P.s- I wonder if our "light skinned" "conceit-uents" (my made up word for a conceited constituent) think that in this picture, they would be on the other side of the fence??
