It's About Time....

Before I even begin to work, I NEED to write about this historic and victorious event that I have had the PRIVILEGE to witness in my life time. I dont know about some of you, but even growing up in a city as "white" as Calgary Alberta, I still attended black history school on the weekends. My mother always made sure that we were aware of our roots and aware of the struggles that blacks have ENDURED over the CENTURIES! And still continue to this day...I am absolutely overcome with emotion. I cry for those that did not get the chance to see this day come. I cry for those who have been able to see this day come but don't understand the magnitude, the importance, the REVOLUTION that has begun.

Someone's status this morning brought up the point that now, black children; black adults; minorities in general can now stand firm in the believe that ANYONE can be ANYTHING they want to be. They can go anywhere they want to go. Perhaps I'm taking such joy in this because just a few weeks ago a black man was "lynched" in Texas... And now a black man will RUN texas and all the 50 other states.

I have NEVER been more proud to be black than today. I'm sure some are thinking well what about how he's going to run things..... I strongly believe that God gave the WORLD this opportunity to allow a properous change to occur. For unity to thrive, for ignorance to be minimalized. To open doors where there was not even "life" let alone walls or a door.... God does everything for a reason and maybe he feels that America is now ready for what has been A LONG TIME COMING.

So as I sit here, a Canadian and proud to be one...I feel as affected as any black american does. I'm proud, I am happy, I am overwhelmed with delight, tears of joy, love and so many other feelings I cant even put in to words.

I thank God whole heartedly that I am alive, coherent and well enough to see this day come. Whether he takes America to the stars and back or runs it into the ground...I will not regret this election outcome. I am anxiously waiting to see what Barak Obama does with his Presidency.

May God bless him, keep him safe, and may he be the one to takes that blindfold off of Mrs. Justice's eye's and may he be the one to really bring out the meaning of THE LAND OF THE FREE in the United States of America. I prayed for this day, and I will pray for many more like it.

Oh and one more thing....BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAH YOU RACIST ASS FUCKERS HOW YA'LL LIKE THEM APPLES HUH??? HOW??? A BLACK MAN IS RUNNING YO SHIT NOW!...AND WHAT???? LOL... I wish I could get ahold of some of them racists personally so I could point and laugh hysterically for a few hours, only to take a break begin again...so until then....this will have to suffice....BAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH (imagine it continues FOREVER)
